Job summary

MRG Exams is seeking a PM&R physician to perform independent medical assessments for U.S. veterans. This non-treating role involves reviewing records, conducting evaluations, and completing VA DBQs through a secure portal to support disability determinations.

Part-time, 1 day per week in Compton, CA. Prior PM&R certification and strong data-synthesis skills are preferred; digital documentation and timely submission are critical. Equipment provided.

Qualifications

• Active MD or DO with PM&R specialization.
• Board certification in PM&R or related fields preferred; two-year residency in a relevant specialty also considered.
• Strong typing and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Review veterans' medical records through a secure portal.
• Conduct non-treating evaluations and document findings.
• Complete and submit VA DBQs using VA templates.
• Submit DBQs within 24 hours of assessment.
• Assess up to four veterans daily.
