Job summary

MRG Exams, a leader in independent medical examinations, is seeking a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Provider to perform assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA disability benefits process. This role reviews medical records through a secure Web Portal, completes DBQs, and documents exam findings.

It is not a treating role, with approximately 3 veterans reviewed daily, 2-3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Physiatrist license.
• Board certification in PM&R or related specialties.
• Ability to review and document electronic medical records and complete DBQs.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent medical assessments for United States Veterans.
• Review medical records through a secure Web Portal and conduct comprehensive assessments.
• Complete Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs) via the Web Portal and document exam findings.
• Note that VA makes all disability determinations; this is not a treating role.
• Review and assess approximately 3 Veterans per day on average.
• Work part-time, 2–3 days/week.
