Job summary

MRG Exams, a premier provider of independent medical examinations, partners with veterans to support the VA disability benefits process. We seek a PM&R physician to conduct non-treating assessments, review records, and complete VA Disability Benefits Questionnaires through a secure online portal.

The role is part-time, one day per week, with duties including documenting findings, submitting DBQs within 24 hours, and evaluating up to four veterans daily.

Qualifications

• Active MD or DO license with PM&R specialization.
• Board certification in PM&R, Neurological Surgery, or Psychiatry and Neurology is preferred; candidates with a two-year residency may be considered.
• Strong typing and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze veterans' medical records via a secure web portal.
• Conduct comprehensive, non-treating assessments of veterans.
• Complete and submit VA DBQs using VA templates.
• Ensure DBQs are thorough and submitted within 24 hours of assessment.
• Assess up to four veterans per day.
