Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a PM&P Material Process Engineering Manager 3 for the SDS division, located in Roy, Utah. The role leads the PM&P design discipline and oversees the life cycle of electrical hardware used in large-scale defense programs.

The successful candidate will develop PM&P plans, provide design review input, manage suppliers, and chair the PM&P Control Board while mentoring engineers and coordinating with design, manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams.

Qualifications

• BS in a STEM field with 8 years of related experience, MS with 6 years are required.
• Active DoD Secret clearance is required at time of application.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PM&P design discipline within SDS Design Engineering.
• Oversee PM&P life cycle for electrical hardware (cables, connectors, PCBs).
• Develop and maintain Electrical PM&P plans for design to sustainment.
• Provide design review input on material selection and cost-effective solutions.
• Manage supplier interfaces and ensure schedule and security compliance.
• Chair the PM&P Control Board and present status to leadership.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate cross-functional teams.
