Job summary

Complete Care is seeking a dedicated Nurse Shift Supervisor (RN/LPN) for the PM shift to lead our nursing team and ensure high-quality resident care. The role involves supervising staff, coordinating resident care, monitoring medications, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a Wisconsin RN license, has prior supervisory experience, and excels in leadership, communication, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Current, active Wisconsin RN license.
• Supervisory or leadership experience in nursing is required.
• Experience in hospital, long-term care, skilled nursing, or related healthcare setting preferred.
• Inpatient, long-term care, and/or palliative care experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and clinical judgment skills.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Strong computer and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff during the assigned shift.
• Coordinate resident care and ensure individualized treatment plans are followed.
• Monitor medication administration, treatments, blood draws, and other nursing services.
• Conduct nursing rounds and monitor residents' conditions and progress.
• Communicate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide education and guidance to nursing staff, residents, and families.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of nursing documentation.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
• Assist with quality assurance and ensure standards of care are consistently maintained.
• Address staffing and clinical issues that arise during the shift.
• Work independently while collaborating effectively with the nursing leadership team.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, or Administrator.
