Job summary

The Alden Network is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide continuity of supervision and operation during the PM shift, ensuring that facility policies are followed and quality of care is maintained.

The ideal candidate holds a current RN license in Illinois and/or Wisconsin, a current CPR certificate, and at least one year of nursing administration experience; strong leadership, decision making, and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

Must possess current RN license in Illinois and/or Wisconsin.
Minimum of one (1) year nursing service administration experience.
Must possess current CPR certificate.
Must be able to read, write and speak English clearly.
Must be able to make independent decisions when warranted.
Must be able to deal tactfully with residents, family, visitors, staff, and authorities.
Must possess leadership and supervisory ability.
Must have patience, tact, cheerfulness and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team to ensure accurate nursing documentation on an ongoing basis.
Dashboard clearing.
POC compliance.
Dietary recommendations carried out.
Pharmacy recommendations carried out.
Track surveillance antibiotic usage and update care plans as needed.
Coordinate documents for scheduling appointments.
Ensure Nursing procedures and protocols follow established policies.
Make daily rounds to supervise nursing personnel and ensure proper procedures are followed.
Notify Department Heads of immediate concerns and report to Administrator.
Ensure PCC documentation by nursing and POC by CNAs.
Monitor and supervise all staff on duty.
Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules to ensure proper administration.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
