Job summary

Rack & Riddle is seeking a PM Materials Handler for our Healdsburg, CA facility. The role runs 2:00pm–10:30pm and includes handling riddling racks, scanning inventory in our MRP/MRP systems, and coordinating loading/unloading and shipments.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, maintaining accurate inventory, and supporting production and warehouse teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required or in process.
• Experience with inventory tracking and warehouse processes preferred.
• Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, organized warehouse conditions and adhere to safety standards.

Description

Rack & Riddle Custom Wine Services, the #1 custom sparkling wine producer in the United States, is seeking to add a PM Materials Handler to our team. The hours for this position would be 2:00pm - 10:30pm.

Material Handlers will handle riddling racks (full and empty) as well as scanning inventory for tracking in our MRP systems.

• Operation of a standard sit down forklift.
• Operate all material handling equipment provided by company.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles.
• Secure customer shipments for rail, ocean, and over-the road transport, properly arranging inventory and dunnage to secure load and balance weight.
• Move goods and stacked pallets/crates throughout production, warehouse, shipping/receiving areas.
• Stacking goods 3-5 crates high into correct storage areas (empty and full).
• Performing daily equipment checks and minor maintenance such as fueling, charging, and washing.
• Adherence to warehouse organization standards and procedures.
• Maintain clean, dry, organized warehouses at all times.
• Consolidate, Receive and Dispatch goods and products are instructed by clients and warehouse management.
• Use computer software to locate orders.
• Read and understands work order instructions.
• Complete work orders and other paperwork as needed.
• Use Bills of Lading to ship/receive goods and products.
• Maintain accurate inventory of all products using WMS.
• Other tasks, in any department, as assigned by Management .

Requirements

• Forklift Certification required, 2 years’ experience preferred
• Must be punctual and maintain good attendance
• Ability to learn and adapt to changing conditions
• Ability to work safely and accurately in a fast-paced environment is required
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and work at catwalk heights of 25 feet
• Must be able to work nights, overtime and weekends
• Ability to read, understand and complete work orders as working with a WHS system may be required
• Experience working in a WHS system or NetSuite is a plus
• Hours: Full Time (plus overtime)
• Ability to work individually and within team to achieve daily production goals
