Position Summary:

The PM Maintenance Supervisor will report directly to the Sr Maintenance Director.

Core responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Follow all company policies and procedures; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional communication; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a friendly, professional, cheerful, and courteous demeanor always.
  • Ensure outstanding customer care.
  • Complete maintenance requests, conduct routine inspections, perform preventative maintenance, replace parts and equipment, and undertake other projects as assigned by the Sr. Maintenance Director and/or the Resort Manager.
  • Dispatch, track, and monitor work orders.
  • Receive supplies and generate inventory reports.
  • Communicate with Front Desk and PBX for follow-ups on room status, PMs, OOO units, and others.
  • Keep all maintenance logs up to date.
  • Coordinate with Sr. Maintenance Director the follow-up of RCI comment cards.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and safety regulations.
  • Respond to room calls and perform maintenance on units or appliances as needed.
  • Work with staff to perform check-outs and room checks for check-in days.
  • Maintain accurate control of logs for equipment as required by law and city codes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Perform caulking, painting, simple building repairs, and similar operations as needed.
  • Coordinate efforts with housekeeping to meet owners'/guests' needs.
  • Maintain a cordial, professional relationship with staff and customers.
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • Assist Night Manager and Assistant Night Manager with maintenance calls, repairs, and follow-ups.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Position Requirements (Skills/Abilities):

Experience: Three to five years of hospitality-related management experience required. Timeshare or Resort management experience highly desirable. Ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively at all levels, and analyze and resolve problems. Proficiency in computer software, especially Excel and Word.

Education: High School diploma or GED required.

Flexible Scheduling: Must be able to work evenings, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Responsible for training maintenance employees, assigning and directing work, disciplining staff, and resolving complaints.

Physical Demands:

Requires walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and using hands and fingers to feel and reach objects. May need to climb ladders, talk, hear, smell, and occasionally lift 50+ lbs with assistance. Vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception. Moderate to loud noise levels expected.

Must present a professional appearance and adhere to company standards. Uphold high ethical standards, including policies on press relations, equal opportunity, discrimination, harassment, vendor relations, and alcohol consumption, as outlined in the Team Member handbook.
