Job summary

PFNonwovens Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and adjusting all mechanical equipment, machinery and components. The role follows GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations and requires basic mechanical knowledge, pneumatics/hydraulics, and the ability to read product specs.

Work involves 12-hour shifts on site with safety as a priority and opportunities to train and share knowledge with the team.

Qualifications

• Completion of all required maintenance training and assessments.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of machinery, equipment, and components.
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Basic knowledge of product specifications, quality specifications, goals, efficiency, scrap, and production.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to use all measuring tools such as micrometers and Vernier calipers.

Responsibilities

• Observes all safety rules and uses proper safety equipment at all times.
• Follows GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations.
• Repairs mechanical components of equipment as required.
• Troubleshoots mechanical and operational issues and takes corrective action.
• Operates machines to test maintenance, changeovers, and adjustments.
• Performs preventive maintenance and lubrication on equipment.
• Performs changeovers on equipment.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
• Conducts preventive/predictive maintenance checks and inspections and reports findings.
• Shares knowledge with team and assists with training.
• Attends training seminars provided by the company.
• Completes paperwork correctly and timely.
• Performs other duties as necessary.
