Job summary

Maker's Pride is seeking a Maintenance Tech to perform diversified duties across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance with proper documentation.

Shift options include a 2-2-3 schedule; must read manuals, order parts, and adhere to GMPs in a manufacturing environment while coordinating with supervisors and team members.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 2-year trades degree or 4 years of plant maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write and speak English; bilingual a plus.
• Able to communicate with sanitation and plant staff.
• Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Motivated, flexible with problem-solving abilities.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds; may require weekend or night hours.
• Welding, fabrication; 3-phase electrical; motor controls; troubleshoot AC/DC drives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance according to skill level and safety policies.
• Read equipment manuals and work orders to perform maintenance.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust.
• Detect faulty operations and report to maintenance manager.
• Order and schedule parts and jobs using Microsoft Office.
• Perform work safely following GMPs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
