Job summary

Houlihan's at Crowne Plaza by IHG in McLean, VA is hiring a Cook (PM Shift). You will prepare and present menu items under the supervision of the Executive Chef, ensuring quality and timely service in a fast-paced environment.

This on-site role requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of prep-line or cooking experience. You must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; at least 1 year of prep line/cook experience preferred.
• Ability to think on your feet and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work a PM shift and on weekends/holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food consistent with recipe cards and menus.
• Start items prepared ahead of time and avoid over-preparation.
• Return unused items to proper storage and maintain stock control.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment and maintain health/sanitation standards.
