Custom House Restaurant Group is seeking a reliable full-time PM Line Cook to join Westerly in Shell Beach, CA. You will prepare and execute menu items to our standards during evening service, ensuring quality and consistency in a fast-paced kitchen.

Open availability for PM shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required. Training for California Food Handler Certification will be provided, and you will collaborate with a dedicated kitchen team to deliver exceptional guest

Qualifications

• Previous line cook or commercial kitchen experience preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-volume kitchens.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques, knife skills, portioning, plating, and food storage.
• Ability to follow recipes and station procedures accurately.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent organization and multitasking to manage tickets and tasks.
• Open availability for PM shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• California Food Handler Certification required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, specifications, and company standards.
• Set up, stock, and maintain assigned stations before, during, and after service.
• Execute orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining food quality and presentation.
• Follow proper portioning, cooking, plating, and temperature standards.
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and product levels throughout the shift.
• Label, date, rotate, and properly store food products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
• Communicate with kitchen leadership and other cooks regarding ticket flow, shortages, and operational needs.
• Assist with prep work, receiving, storage, and kitchen organization as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Support other kitchen stations and team members as operational needs require.
