Job summary

RIT Inn & Conference Center in Rochester, NY is seeking a Line Cook for the dinner shift. You will prepare menu items, maintain quality, and support room service, breakfast, lunch, and dinner operations as needed, contributing to a hospitable dining experience.

Previous cooking experience is required; ServSafe or equivalent certification is preferred but not mandatory. Availability 2pm-11pm and weekend shifts are required.

The Line Cook is the principle restaurant and room service, breakfast, lunch, and dinner preparation, service cook. The Line Cook ensures that all food is consistently and properly prepared in a timely manner, and is of the finest quality. Special emphasis is placed on accommodating guest preferences, flexibility with work assignments, efficiency, quality, and social demeanor that contributes to a hospitable environment.

This available position is for the dinner shift. Availability of 2pm-11pm required. Weekend availability required.

The salary for this position is $18 - $19 per hour.
