Line Cook
Position Overview

The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and executing menu items according to Jupiter Supper Club's culinary standards. This position plays a vital role in delivering a consistent, high-quality guest experience by maintaining station readiness, executing dishes efficiently during service, and supporting overall kitchen operations.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and teamwork. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Service Execution
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, specifications, and presentation standards.
  • Maintain assigned station throughout service, ensuring organization, cleanliness, and readiness.
  • Execute tickets accurately and efficiently during high-volume service.
  • Communicate effectively with chefs and fellow team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Follow proper portioning, plating, and timing standards.
Prep & Production
  • Complete daily prep lists accurately and efficiently.
  • Properly label, date, rotate, and store all products.
  • Maintain appropriate pars and notify leadership of low inventory items.
  • Assist with banquet, special event, and seasonal menu preparations as needed.
  • Minimize waste and practice proper product handling procedures.
Station Maintenance & Cleanliness
  • Keep workstations clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift.
  • Follow all opening, service, and closing procedures.
  • Assist with kitchen cleaning projects and deep-cleaning tasks as assigned.
  • Ensure all equipment is cleaned and maintained properly.
  • Report equipment issues or maintenance concerns to kitchen leadership.
Teamwork & Professionalism
  • Work collaboratively with all members of the culinary team.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be receptive to coaching and committed to continuous improvement.
