Jacobs in Wethersfield, CT is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead PM/CM activities for education construction programs from conception to completion. You will oversee construction and coordinate with design teams to keep projects on time and within budget, while maintaining strong client relationships.

The role requires 6+ years in the AEC industry, a Bachelor degree in Architecture/Engineering/Construction Management, and deep knowledge of pre-design, contract management, and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
• 6+ years’ experience as a Project Manager in the AEC industry.
• 5+ years experience with K-12 or higher education building construction and renovation programs.
• Strong knowledge of pre-design, pre-construction, building systems and contract management.
• Excellent leadership and client relationship skills; able to manage multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage project development from conception to completion per program objectives.
• Provide construction oversight and resolve complex challenges.
• Develop reports, meeting minutes, correspondences, project awards, and invoices.
• Assist with budgets, schedules, and project controls; drive value for the client.
• Maintain proactive communication and strong cross-functional collaboration.
