Job summary

First Bank is seeking a Project Manager II for a hybrid role based in Creve Coeur, MO. You will lead moderately complex, cross‑functional initiatives, while performing Business Analyst functions as needed, bridging strategy, execution, and analysis.

In this position you will apply PMI best practices, collaborate with stakeholders, IT partners, and vendors to deliver measurable value, manage budgets, schedules, risks, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of progressive experience in project management with exposure to business analysis.
• Experience delivering projects in a financial services or regulated environment.
• Strong working knowledge of PMI standards (scope, schedule, cost, risk, stakeholder management).
• Demonstrated ability to engage business stakeholders and translate needs into deliverables.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, technology partners, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery using PMI-aligned methodologies.
• Develop and manage charters, integrated plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, risk registers, and status reports.
• Monitor project performance using standard metrics and PMO governance.
• Manage project financials, including budget tracking, variance analysis, and forecasting.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and dependencies with mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate internal teams, external vendors, and third-party partners to deliver outcomes.
• Ensure projects align with enterprise strategy, regulatory requirements, and operational priorities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across banking functions to elicit and document business needs; support BA activities as needed.
