Job summary

AC Hotel Medford, a Colwen Hotels Property, is seeking a highly motivated PM housekeeper for the evening shift to perform cleaning and upkeep in guest rooms per brand standards.

Responsibilities include prioritizing rooms, stocking supplies, maintaining privacy, and ensuring rooms meet hotel standards during a final walk-through. Prior experience is preferred; weekends and holidays required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a cleaner or housekeeper, hotel experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented and thorough.

Responsibilities

• Receive list of assigned rooms from manager and prioritize rooms.
• Clean, stock and maintain assigned guest rooms to brand standards.
• Respond promptly to guest and other department requests.
• Check inventory of cleaning cart and transport to floors/rooms.
• Ensure privacy of guests at all times.
• Knock and announce before entering rooms; revisit if occupied.
• Restock amenities and supplies as needed.
• Make beds and stock bath linens.
• Disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and coffee stations.
• Remove trash and linen from rooms.
• Ensure appliances are present and clean.
• Tidy desk areas and furniture; dust and remove marks.
• Vacuum carpets and floors.
• Notify maintenance of repairs needed.
• Final room walk-through to guarantee standards.
• Launder soiled linens and operate washers/dryers as required.

Description

AC Hotel Medford, a Colwen Hotels Property, is seeking a highly motivated and friendly PM housekeeper with an eye for detail to join our team! This position will work the evening shift. In this role you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning activities in accordance with company and brand standards.

General Responsibilities:

• Receive list of assigned rooms from manager and prioritize rooms
• Clean, stock and maintain assigned guest rooms according to Colwen and brand standards of cleanliness
• Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments
• Check the inventory of cleaning cart and add necessary supplies; transport cart to assigned floor/rooms
• Ensure privacy of guests at all times
• Knock and announce self before entering assigned guest rooms; return at a later time if room is occupied
• Check amenities and supplies in rooms, restock according to standards
• Neatly make beds and stock bath linens according to standard
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchen, and/or coffee stations
• Remove all trash, dirty linens, towels and room service items from rooms
• Check that all appliances are in the room and in clean working order
• Straighten desk area and furniture
• Dust, polish furniture and remove marks/stains from walls and furnishings
• Vacuum carpets and clean floors
• Notify maintenance department of needed maintenance or repairs
• Ensure room meets hotel standards with final walk around
• Ensure soiled linens are laundered, which may include loading hotel washers and dryers and folding sheets and towels
• Take found items to designated lost and found area
• Perform other duties as requested

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a cleaner or housekeeper, hotel experience preferred
• Detail-oriented and thorough
• Remain discreet and respect privacy of guests, work with the highest level of integrity
• Perform consistent work to the highest standard
• Ability to work quickly without compromising quality
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
• Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant and friendly way
• Excellent prioritization and time management skills
• Willingness to work rotational 7-day work cycle; including weekends and holidays

Compensation:

Wage Range: $20.50 - $21.50
