Job summary

The Facilities Group National is seeking a Floor Tech for the PM shift in Brookshire, TX. This full-time service role focuses on cleaning and maintaining floors, dusting, mopping, waxing, and operating floor equipment while following safety protocols.

You will work with cleaning teams, use PPE, handle chemicals, report maintenance needs, and support hazardous waste tasks. A high school diploma or GED and prior janitorial or floor care experience are preferred; ability to pass background checks

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior professional janitorial or cleaning experience.
• Prior floor care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, hallways, and common areas; move furniture as needed.
• Operate floor equipment: extractors, buffers, polishes, strippers.
• Dust, mop, strip, wax, and maintain floors; inspect for damage.
• Handle chemicals safely and measure/dispense them correctly.
• Label and store chemicals; maintain equipment and PPE.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor; assist with hazardous waste tasks.
