Job summary

The Facilities Group National is seeking a Floor Care Tech for the PM shift in Brookshire, TX. You will maintain all floor areas, perform waxing and buffing, and operate floor equipment with proper PPE.

Responsibilities include cleaning offices and common areas, moving furniture, inspecting floors, and assisting with hazardous waste collection while coordinating with the supervisor for maintenance issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Prior professional janitorial or cleaning experience.
• Prior floor care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances.
• Ability to pass a background check and be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning offices, hallways, common areas and other spaces.
• Moving furniture before and after cleaning.
• Cleaning, dusting, mopping, stripping, and waxing floors.
• Operating floor equipment including extractors and buffers.
• Inspecting floors for damage and performing minor repairs.
• Maintaining inventory of floor areas and cleaning supplies.
• Reporting maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Assisting with hazardous waste collection as needed.
