Job summary

Life Protect 24/7 is seeking a self-motivated Custodial Supervisor to lead our overnight custodial team, ensuring high-quality cleaning standards and ongoing employee training. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, problem solving, and strong organization to maintain an efficient operation.

Responsibilities include training staff, supporting overnight shifts, performing quality checks on AM/PM shifts, and overseeing inventory and scheduling.

Job description

Life Protect 24/7 is searching for self-motivated,Custodial Supervisor to lead our team, ensure high-quality cleaning standards, and provide ongoing employee training and support. This role requires hands-on leadership, problem-solving, and strong organizational skills to maintain a well-functioning custodial operation.

Schedule:

• Tuesday-Saturday 10pm-6am

Responsibilities include:

• Training custodial staff on proper cleaning methods and procedures

• Provide ongoing surrport to overnight shifts

• Perform quiality control checks onboth the AM and Pm custodial shifts

• Work along side the custodial team daily, fostering teamwork, shared accountability, and leding by example

• Address cleaning related concerns independently

• Handle non-emergency issues on-site

• Supervise employee relations needs (leave request, call outs,shift coverage, etc)

• Oversee supply inventory and ordering

• Ideal Candidate will display strong leadership skills/experience, problem solving skills, exellent communication, and willingness to work along team

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, twist, and reach
• Must be able to perform repetitive motions such as scrubbing or wiping
• Must be able to work with chemical substances and other cleaning materials
• Must be able to operate backpack and handheld style industrial vacuum cleaners

Additional Requirements:

• Work well with others on a team
• Receive and respect coaching and training
• Experience working with cleaning routines
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• 3-5 years of outstanding custodial experience
• 1-2 years of supervisor requirements
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)
• Ability to interact with staff, peers, supervisors, and management while remaining professional, polite, and courteous

Pay:$19/hour
