Job summary

Gundersen Health System is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join its care team in Spring Grove, MN. The role involves PM shifts, every other weekend and holiday, and part-time hours with a bi-weekly 72-hour schedule.

New hires without CNA certification can enroll in a fully funded program to obtain MN CNA certification, with starting pay of $18.57/hour until certification and $20.55/hour with CNA; training is paid for by the employer.

Qualifications

• Minnesota CNA certification is required.
• Current Infant–Adult BLS for Health Care Providers is required.
• Experience with basic patient care and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care under RN supervision.
• Transport and assist with patient mobility and transfers.
• Document resident care in electronic medical records.
• Assist with nutrition, elimination, comfort, mobility and safety.
• Attend CNA and unit staff meetings and participate in quality improvement.
