Job summary

Gundersen Health System in Spring Grove, MN is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team for day shifts. Work day shifts including every other weekend and holiday; Part-time = 16 hours bi-weekly.

You will perform basic patient care under the supervision of an RN, transport patients safely, and assist with data collection for delegated nursing care. If you do not have a CNA, we will enroll you in a fully funded program to obtain MN CNA certification and start as a Nursing Assistant

Qualifications

• Minnesota CNA certification required; if not held, employer will pay for training to obtain it.
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers required, hands-on training available.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care under the supervision of an RN.
• Transport and transfer patients within the medical complex safely.
• Accurately document on each resident in an electronic medical record (EMR).
• Assist with nutrition, elimination, comfort, mobility, and safety for patients.
• Maintain environment and equipment; ensure patient safety.
