Job summary

Homestead Home Health Care in Livonia, MI is seeking compassionate caregivers and MedTechs to support residents in our community. You will assist with ADLs, help with mobility, provide companionship, administer medications as prescribed, and communicate changes to the supervisor.

Ideal candidates are reliable, have experience with the elderly, and can work every other weekend. A high school diploma or GED, the ability to pass a background check, and dependable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians’ orders and monitor intake.
• Assist residents with mobility to ensure safety and comfort.
• Maintain a clean, organized living environment; perform light housekeeping as needed.
• Provide regular updates on residents’ well-being to the supervisor.

Homestead Home Health Care is seeking compassionate and experienced Caregivers and MedTechs to provide care to our residents in our Community in Livonia, MI. The Caregiver/MedTech will assist residents with activities of daily living, medication administration, and provide companionship and emotional support. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, possess excellent communication skills, and foster genuine relationships with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADL), specifically but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians' orders and monitor and document residents' medication intake accurately.
• Assist residents with mobility challenges, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents, which may include light housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Provide regular updates on residents' well-being and any changes in their condition to the supervisor.
• Communicate professionally with families, support services, and coworkers of Homestead.
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
