Job summary

Homestead Healthcare in Muskegon, MI seeks compassionate MedTechs to support residents with daily living activities and medication administration.

You will assist with bathing, dressing, laundry, and provide companionship while maintaining safety and infection control standards. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

This is a reliable, on-site role with weekend rotation and opportunities for growth, orientation, and paid training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Experience working with the elderly.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care.
• Pass medications.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist residents with laundry, including bedding.
• Report changes in residents' condition to the supervisor.
• Communicate professionally with families, support services, and coworkers.
• Comply with infection control procedures and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Homestead is seeking compassionate and experienced MedTechs to provide care to our residents in Muskegon, MI.

The Caregiver/MedTech will assist residents with activities of daily living, medication administration, help with laundry and provide companionship and emotional support. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, possess excellent communication skills, and foster genuine relationships with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with activities of daily living, specifically but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, etc.
• Passing medications.
• Providing companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist residents with laundry, including bedding.
• Reporting any changes in the resident's condition to the supervisor.
• Communicate in a professional manner with families, support services, and coworkers of Homestead.
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.

• Every other weekend is required.
• Reliable transportation.
