Job summary

ChampionX is seeking a dedicated professional to handle installations and repairs of plunger artificial lift equipment in the United States. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanic skills, a high school diploma, and at least 4 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities

  • Review quotes, installation and repair plans to understand customer needs.
  • Deliver and install plunger artificial lift equipment.
  • Execute installations, repair, or service plans and document results.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and communicate discrepancies.

Job description

What You Will Do
  • Reviews quotes, installation and repair plans to ensure a thorough understanding of customer needs and the parts and process required to address the need.
  • Explains installation, service or repair plans, and invoices to customers; discusses cost or time overruns with team leader or manager.
  • Delivers and installs plunger artificial lift equipment for the customer.
  • Executes installations, repair, or service plans and documents results.
  • Creates product failure analysis reports.
  • Develops good working relationships with customers through professional communication.
  • Ships, receives and transfers parts and equipment for the warehouse.
  • Maintains accurate inventory levels and communicates any discrepancies as needed.
  • Knows and complies with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license in state of residence required
  • Must be 21 years of age to operate company vehicle.
  • 4 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.

Physical Demands

Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs regularly. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Employee is required to occasionally walk in customer field locations which may include inclines, uneven surfaces, and a variety of weather conditions. Employee must be able to regularly bend, stoop, crawl, lay down, twist and push. Employee is required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment including but not limited to shoes/boots, hard hats, or respirators.
