Job summary

Ward Plumbing, Heating & Air is seeking an experienced Plumbing Service Technician to join our team in Sylva, NC. You will diagnose, repair, and install plumbing systems in residential and light-commercial settings while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Lead Plumber or Plumbing Service Technician.
• Strong diagnostic, repair, and installation skills across residential and light-commercial plumbing.
• Experience with water and waste piping, fixtures, water heaters of all types, underground piping, drain cleaning, and related plumbing systems.
• Professional, positive communication with customers and coworkers - taking care of people is just as important as technical ability.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must live within approximately 30 minutes of Sylva, NC, or be willing to relocate within our service area.
• Comfortable using technology, including iPads, mobile applications, and modern dispatch/service software.
• Eager to continue learning, improving, and earning.

Experienced Plumbing Service Technician

Our current Plumbing Technicians are averaging $47.76/hour in earnings.

That isn't a projected earning potential or a "top technician" number - $47.76/hour is what our Plumbing Technicians are averaging right now.

Ward Plumbing, Heating & Air is looking for experienced, capable Plumbing Service Technicians who know their trade, take pride in their work, and want to be rewarded for being productive.

And our technicians are NOT required to work on-call shifts.

What We're Looking For

Pay & Benefits

• Performance-based pay - our current Plumbing Technicians average $47.76/hour

• $30–$68/hour compensation range, based on performance

Schedule

• Full-time

• Four ~10-hour shifts per week

• Monday–Saturday operating schedule

• Day/mid-day/evening shifts depending on assigned schedule
