Job summary

Parks Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking an experienced Plumbing Service Technician in Indian Trail, NC. You will diagnose plumbing issues, educate customers on options, and perform repairs while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Residential plumbing service experience of 3+ years.
• Familiar with local plumbing codes and on-the-job applications.
• Proven soldering, fixture installation, leak detection and repair skills.
• Commitment to ongoing education and training.
• Clean, safe driving record.
• Strong organization and follow-through.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High integrity and strong interpersonal skills.
• Desire to improve as a technician and team player.
• Experience with ServiceTitan is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose plumbing issues and troubleshoot.
• Access crawlspaces and attics as needed.
• Educate customers with option sheets for products/services.
• Assist customers in financing options and maintenance plans.
• Perform repairs and test for functionality and leaks.
• Meet or exceed revenue goals.
• Present yourself professionally to win referrals and repeat business.
• Collaborate with customer service and dispatch for overall success.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and truck inventory.
• Participate in training, meetings and team retreats.
• Mentor apprentices for quick, accurate repairs and installations.
• Fill invoices and timecards accurately.

Salary Range: $80,000.00 To $150,000.00 Annually

Responsibilities:

• Understand the plumbing system in order to accurately troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues.
• Physically capable of going through crawlspaces and attics when necessary.
• Know how to educate customers and provide detailed option sheets with the right products and services.
• Educate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans.
• Ability to make repairs and properly test for functionality and leaks.
• Understand service criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals.
• Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.
• Work alongside customer service and dispatch to ensure overall success of the business.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck.
• Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings and retreats.
• Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations.
• Be accurate and timely with invoices, timecards, curbside feedback and option sheets.

Qualifications:

• Three (3)+ Years of residential plumbing service experience.
• Knowledgeable of local plumbing codes and ability to make on-the-job applications.
• Develop proven track record in soldering, fixture installation, leak detection and repair.
• Continued education and training.
• Clean, safe driving record.
• Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communications.
• High integrity with advanced social skills and ability to make solid connections.
