Job summary

Accurate Mechanical is seeking a Plumbing Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair residential plumbing systems. You will work directly with homeowners to assess needs, provide expert recommendations, and ensure safety, quality, and code compliance on every job.

The role requires reading blueprints, diagnosing leaks and clogs, and performing routine maintenance while keeping precise records and communicating costs clearly. A valid license and clean driving record are preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid plumbing license or certification as required by local or state regulations.
  • Proven experience in general and residential plumbing.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and plumbing codes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, and pipe damage in residential properties.
  • Install new plumbing systems and fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and piping according to building codes and customer specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent plumbing failures and extend system lifespan.
  • Communicate clearly with customers to explain issues, recommend solutions, and provide cost estimates.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during service calls.
  • Collaborate with other team members and contractors when necessary to complete complex projects.

Minimum Qualifications
