Job summary

Yellowstone Local represents Journeymen Plumbing and Sewer LLC, a leader in residential plumbing and sewer services in Warrenville, IL. The role focuses on diagnosis, repair, installation, maintenance, and service across residential and light commercial calls, with on-site work in Warrenville and surrounding area.

You will mentor apprentices, uphold Illinois codes, and contribute to a dependable service team.

Qualifications

• Journeyman license required.
• Valid driver's license.
• 4+ years of plumbing experience required.
• Experience with residential plumbing and/or light commercial plumbing systems.
• Strong plumbing diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to independently perform plumbing repairs, installations, maintenance, and service.
• Willingness to perform drain cleaning, sewer rodding, and sewer service.
• Sewer rodding experience preferred, but not required for candidates willing to learn.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to train and mentor plumbing apprentices.
• Knowledge of plumbing codes, safety procedures, and industry best practices.
• Ability to maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Ability to safely operate company vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and light commercial plumbing repairs, installations, maintenance, and service throughout Warrenville, Illinois, and the surrounding service area.
• Diagnose plumbing systems, fixtures, water lines, drains, and sewer systems.
• Complete drain cleaning, sewer rodding, and sewer service.
• Identify plumbing problems and recommend practical repair options.
• Complete work according to Illinois plumbing codes, applicable safety requirements, and company quality standards.
• Maintain accurate service reports, job documentation, and customer records.
• Explain repairs, recommendations, and service options clearly and professionally to customers.
• Train, mentor, and support plumbing apprentices in the field.
• Safely operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Participate in the rotating on-call schedule and emergency service calls as needed.
