Job Title: Plumbing Technician

Position Summary

SunVena is looking for a Plumbing Technician to join our team of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. Our Technicians serve the customers by educating them on the available product options, removing and replacing plumbing equipment, including but not limited to hot water heaters and water filters, as well as installing add‑on accessories when needed while providing quality work while following all applicable local and national codes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, replace, and maintain residential water heaters (tank and tankless) and water filtration systems (whole‑house and under‑sink).
  • Conduct site assessments to ensure proper placement and configuration of equipment.
  • Install all equipment in accordance with safety regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company standards.
  • Perform system testing to ensure functionality and compliance with local plumbing codes.
  • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing questions, concerns, and explaining system operation clearly.
  • Document all job details, progress, and materials used per company requirements.
  • Transport, organize, and manage tools, equipment, and parts inventory assigned to the company vehicle.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas, job sites, and company vehicles.
  • Collaborate with dispatch and project managers to ensure timely and efficient job execution.
  • Stay current with industry standards, technologies, and product developments.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks and support senior technicians as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
  • Must be able to bend, lift, carry, stoop, crawl, sit, stand, drive, reach above, walk, push, pull, fine manipulation, and use hands frequently.
  • Must display strong communication skills and technical competence.
  • Demonstrate proper and safe use of tools and related equipment.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively individually as well as in a team environment.
  • Minimum 2 years of plumbing experience, preferably in water heater and filtration system installation.

  • Ability to install water heaters and water filtration systems without a helper.
  • Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems and local plumbing codes.
