Job summary

AIRO Mechanical is seeking a Plumbing Superintendent to lead plumbing projects from start to finish on our Tampa-based sites. You will supervise technicians, subcontractors, and on-site teams, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion in accordance with project specifications and codes.

The role requires strong leadership, interpretation of plans and specs, and excellent communication with clients. OSHA 10-certified candidates and those with plumbing licenses are preferred; a valid

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Plumbing Superintendent in commercial/industrial projects.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read/interpret construction plans and specs.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and construction practices.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred.
• Plumbing licenses/certifications a plus.
• A valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Plumbing projects from planning to execution to meet objectives and client expectations.
• Supervise plumbing technicians, subcontractors, and on-site personnel.
• Ensure installations meet project specs, codes, and safety standards.
• Enforce safety protocols; conduct regular safety meetings and site inspections.
• Manage resources—materials, equipment, and labor—for efficiency.
• Maintain positive client relationships and provide project updates.
• Identify and resolve issues to minimize disruptions.
• Keep accurate daily and progress reports and as-built drawings.
• Assist in monitoring budgets and controlling costs.
