Advanced Home Services in Rigby, ID is seeking a Plumbing Service Technician to diagnose and repair plumbing issues, leaks, clogs, and faulty fixtures. You’ll work independently to provide customers with clear, honest information and follow plumbing codes.

Responsibilities include inspections, documentation, and maintenance while mentoring apprentices. Travel up to 25% and maintain your tool set and vehicle in good condition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Plumbing trade school or technical training preferred.
• 3+ years of plumbing service experience preferred.
• Journeyman license or state certification strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, diagnostics and repair.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, fixture replacements, pipe repairs, and water heater installations.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance, testing water pressure, drainage, and system performance.
• Document work performed, materials used, and recommendations, ensuring compliance with codes and company standards.
• Provide clear, professional communication to customers about diagnoses, repairs, and options.
• Collect payments and maintain truck inventory.
• Collaborate with dispatch, service managers, and team members; mentor apprentices and technicians.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle in safe, clean condition.
