Position Overview

We seek an experienced Plumbing Service Technician with a positive attitude, teamwork skills, customer service focus, and attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems in commercial buildings
• Respond to plumbing calls from the general contracting team
• Install plumbing systems in new construction and rehab projects
• Complete work orders and record materials used
• Communicate work status and procedures to personnel
• Operate hand and power tools, vacuum pump, recovery unit, test equipment, and vehicles
• Maintain equipment and vehicle safety and effectiveness
• Install and maintain water supply systems
• Locate and repair water line issues, leaks
• Repair or replace drainage lines, faucets, and clogged drains
• Participate in meetings and training
• Document activities and convey information in writing
• Respond to emergency situations as needed
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Other duties as assigned

Accountabilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems independently
• Develop technical skills and industry knowledge
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues
• Ensure safety compliance and code adherence

Organizational Alignment

This role reports to the service manager and manages customer relations.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of plumbing experience
• Knowledge of plumbing terminology, fittings, tools, and materials
• Ability to diagnose and repair electric and gas water heaters
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable record
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Understanding of maintenance and safety regulations
