Job summary

Quality Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electric is seeking a Residential Service Plumber to diagnose, repair, and maintain home plumbing systems while delivering exceptional customer service. This role suits a skilled plumber who enjoys solving problems and creating lasting solutions for homeowners.

You will diagnose leaks, install water heaters and fixtures, perform inspections, and ensure compliance with codes. A valid license and the ability to mentor apprentices are preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Journeyman or Apprentice plumber with state certification or pursuing licensure.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing residential plumbing systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in attics or crawl spaces.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential plumbing issues including leaks and clogs.
• Install and maintain water heaters, fixtures, piping, and filtration systems.
• Perform system inspections and recommend repairs or upgrades.
• Explain findings, solutions, and estimates to customers clearly.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Residential Service Plumber to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential plumbing systems while delivering exceptional customer service. This position is ideal for a skilled plumber who enjoys problem-solving and creating solutions that improve the comfort and safety of homeowners.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair a variety of residential plumbing issues, including leaks, clogged drains, and faulty water heaters


• Install, repair, and maintain water heaters, fixtures, piping, water filtration systems, and other plumbing components


• Perform thorough system inspections and provide recommendations for repairs or upgrades


• Explain findings, solutions, and estimates to customers in a clear and professional manner


• Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety regulations


• Maintain an organized and fully stocked service vehicle


• Keep detailed records of service calls, including parts used and work performed


• Provide excellent customer service and build lasting relationships with homeowners


• Train and mentor apprentices as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record


• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various conditions (attics, crawl spaces, etc.)
