Job summary

Yellowstone Local is looking for a Plumbing Sales Representative to serve homeowners throughout Houston, TX. You will meet with homeowners to identify plumbing concerns and project goals, evaluate systems, and recommend repair, replacement, and upgrade solutions.

You will prepare estimates, explain pricing, warranties, and options, and use a consultative, customer-focused approach to build trust and close sales. Travel within the Houston service area is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in plumbing sales or related home-services sales role.
• Plumbing knowledge or hands-on plumbing experience.
• Strong communication, presentation, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to explain technical plumbing repairs and solutions in terms homeowners can easily understand.
• Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented approach.
• Ability to manage multiple leads, estimates, customer appointments, and follow-ups effectively.
• Commitment to honest, professional, consultative sales practices.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to travel to customer homes throughout the Houston service area.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners to identify plumbing concerns, needs, and project goals
• Evaluate residential plumbing systems and recommend appropriate repair, replacement, and upgrade solutions
• Prepare and present estimates while clearly explaining pricing, products, warranties, and available options
• Use a consultative, customer-focused sales approach to build trust and help homeowners make confident decisions
• Discuss pricing, answer questions, handle objections professionally, and ask for the sale
• Follow up on estimates and qualified sales leads to convert opportunities into booked plumbing projects
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, estimates, follow-ups, and sales activity
• Coordinate with plumbers, service technicians, dispatchers, and office staff to create a smooth transition from sale to service or installation
• Stay current on plumbing products, equipment, services, and industry best practices
• Work toward individual sales and revenue goals while maintaining a positive customer experience
• Represent the company professionally in customers' homes and throughout the Houston service area
