Yellowstone Local in Houston,TX is seeking a qualified Plumbing Technician for our service team. You will diagnose, repair, and service plumbing systems in commercial, multi-family, residential, and light commercial environments on a day shift. Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Plumbing Technician, Service Plumber, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Read and understand work orders, plumbing diagrams, and technical information.
• Current Texas plumbing license or registration as required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers throughout Houston, TX as a full-time day-shift Plumbing Technician.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot leaks, drain stoppages, water pressure issues and fixture failures.
• Repair and replace faucets, toilets, plumbing fixtures and water heaters.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections and service work.
• Explain issues and solutions to customers and property managers clearly.
• Complete work orders, service documentation and job notes accurately.
• Use mobile devices or tablets for dispatching and documentation.
• Follow plumbing codes, safety requirements and company procedures.
• Maintain tools, equipment, materials and service vehicles.
• Keep work areas clean and professional on-site.

Your New Role

• Work as a full-time, day-shift Plumbing Technician serving customers throughout Houston, TX

• Complete scheduled plumbing service calls in commercial, multi-family, residential, and light commercial environments

• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing problems, including leaks, drain stoppages, water pressure issues, fixture failures, and piping problems

• Repair and replace faucets, toilets, plumbing fixtures, water heaters, piping, valves, drains, and related plumbing components

• Perform preventive maintenance, routine plumbing inspections, and service work

• Accurately identify the source of plumbing problems and recommend appropriate repair solutions

• Clearly explain plumbing issues, recommended repairs, and available solutions to customers, property managers, and on-site personnel

• Complete work orders, service documentation, and job notes accurately

• Use mobile devices or tablets for dispatching, job updates, and service documentation

• Communicate with dispatch regarding job status, scheduling, and additional work

• Follow applicable plumbing codes, safety requirements, and company procedures

• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, plumbing equipment, and other service equipment

• Maintain company-provided tools, equipment, materials, and assigned service vehicles

• Keep every work area clean and professional before leaving the job site

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to sharpen your plumbing and service skills

• 3+ years of experience as a Plumbing Technician, Service Plumber, or similar plumbing service professional

• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance

• Ability to diagnose plumbing problems accurately and recommend appropriate solutions

• Experience in commercial, multi-family, residential, or light commercial plumbing environments preferred

• Ability to read and understand work orders, plumbing diagrams, and technical information

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple service calls throughout the day

• Comfortable using mobile devices or tablets for dispatching and job documentation

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

• Ability to safely operate plumbing hand tools, power tools, and related equipment

• Current Texas plumbing license or registration appropriate to the work performed, as required by position responsibilities

• Ability to safely perform the essential physical duties of plumbing service work, including lifting and carrying equipment and materials, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in confined spaces

• Ability to safely use ladders and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
