Job description

A growing mechanical contractor in Tempe, AZ is seeking an experienced Plumbing Project Manager to lead commercial and industrial plumbing projects from turnover through closeout. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial plumbing project management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage budgets, schedules, procurement, field teams, subcontractors, and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial and industrial plumbing projects from kickoff through completion
• Oversee project budgets, forecasting, schedules, procurement, and financial performance
• Coordinate with field leadership, superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchasing, and project documentation
• Maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, and internal teams
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
• Support process improvements and company growth initiatives
• Proactively identify project risks and develop solutions to keep work moving forward

Qualifications

• 5+ years of plumbing project management experience
• Experience with commercial, industrial, healthcare, manufacturing, institutional, or similar projects
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, construction processes, budgets, and contracts
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills
• Experience with negotiated work or relationship-driven project delivery is preferred
