Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing is seeking a Plumbing Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from kickoff to closeout in Grand Rapids, MI. You will manage schedules, budgets, and field coordination to deliver quality installs on time and on code.

Ideal applicants have 3–5+ years of plumbing or MEP leadership experience, strong communication, and the ability to read plans, specs, and construction documents.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of plumbing or MEP construction leadership experience.
• Experience in project management, project engineering, or field leadership.
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, installation, and sequencing.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and construction documents.
• Experience with budgets, schedules, and project coordination.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage plumbing construction projects from kickoff to closeout.
• Build and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and GCs.
• Oversee RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and change orders.
• Track job costs, production, and project performance.
• Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to code.
• Support project meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders.
