Job summary

DSG Supply is seeking a Plumbing & HVAC Outside Sales Account Manager for the Lansing, MI area. You will promote DSG products and services to contractors and industrial accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and strong relationships.

The role includes travel, collaboration with Inside Sales, new business development, and optimizing orders while leveraging the ESOP environment and growth opportunities. Compensation combines base pay with variable commissions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; postsecondary degree is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Product and technical knowledge normally acquired in two or more years of college or technical school OR 3-5 years field experience in the residential/commercial applications of Plumbing & HVAC products.
• Strong sales skills, with a proven track record of successful territory development.
• 3-5 years of sales experience.
• Excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 125 miles to establish and maintain key customer relationships with strong service.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales to drive territory growth and satisfaction.
• Develop new customer opportunities and accounts.
• Promote and demonstrate new products and marketing programs.
• Coordinate with Branch Manager on product demand changes.
• Facilitate ordering: process orders, handle returns, and fix issues.
