Job summary

Moore's Electrical & Mechanical seeks a Plumbing Foreman to lead commercial plumbing installations across varied sites in the Roanoke region. You will read drawings, prepare materials, and supervise the layout and installation of piping and fixtures on projects such as K-12 facilities, universities and healthcare buildings.

The role requires strong leadership, on-site training abilities, and excellent communication with clients and teams.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret construction drawings for all trades.
• Complete a Bill of Materials based on drawings and blueprints.
• Layout and installation of plumbing pipe (PVC, CPVC, black iron, copper, brass).
• Installation of plumbing fixtures (toilets, urinals, sinks, hoods, drains, vents).
• Ability to lead and train all field staff.
• Exceptional customer relational skills.
• Great communication skills (written and oral).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

The Role

The Plumbing Foreman will serve as an essential part of successful plumbing system installs as well as providing leadership and support on our commercial construction sites. Job sites will vary amongst commercial projects throughout the area. Projects will mainly consist of K-12, University, and Healthcare buildings.

What You'll Do

• Ability to read and interpret coordinated construction drawings for all trades.

• Ability to operate equipment as needed on site
• Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office, Internet, Email

• Knowledge of steam systems
• Journeyman or Master Card
