Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Plumbing Estimator to join our team. You will compile estimates for plumbing, fire suppression, and mechanical piping systems, coordinating estimates from inception to submission on schedule.

The role requires strong leadership, meticulous planning, and hands-on review of project plans and specs. You will oversee bid processes, coordinate with subcontractors, and manage paperwork while ensuring accurate pricing and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years experience in plumbing fire suppression or mechanical trade with verified references, or minimum of 5 years in mechanical engineering trade specifically in plumbing.
• Strong computer skills and ability to adapt to software quickly to perform duties.
• Must be detail oriented, organized, and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Daily project estimate operations.
• Review project plans and specifications to understand project intent.
• Price PVF, equipment, and fixtures.
• Price subcontractors.
• Insurance reviews and leveling sheets.
• Prepare scope sheets and unit price sheets.
• Review plans and specifications to understand means and methods for the project.
• Maintain clerical paperwork for the project.
• Attend bid meetings and post-bid meetings.
• Perform bid walks on site.
• Scope subcontractors and oversee work by outside contractors as necessary.

Qualifications
