gpac partnered opportunity: an experienced Plumbing Estimator is sought to join a fast-growing mechanical contractor in Columbus, OH. You will estimate a wide range of commercial plumbing projects and help shape preconstruction strategy with direct involvement from company leadership.

Applicants should have 5+ years in commercial plumbing estimating, strong drawing/spec interpretation, and proficiency with Bluebeam, Excel, and estimating software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial plumbing estimating experience.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, piping, and related building systems.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Experience preparing conceptual budgets, hard bids, negotiated work, and design-build estimates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual budgets and bids for commercial plumbing projects.
• Collaborate with operations, preconstruction, and project management to win profitable work.
• Lead or contribute to preconstruction strategy and estimating efforts.
• Support leadership in growing the estimating department and delivering accurate estimates.
