Job summary

Clearwater Plumbing is seeking an experienced Plumbing Estimator for small to mid-size commercial projects. The ideal candidate will read and interpret plans and specs, perform takeoffs, and prepare accurate estimates to support competitive bids. Familiarity with Trimble or similar estimating tools is required.

Occasional site visits may be necessary to assess conditions. Minimum requirements include 3+ years of commercial plumbing experience and 3+ years of plumbing estimating experience, with

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret plans and specs to prepare accurate takeoffs and estimates
• Perform takeoffs and prepare competitive bids for small to mid-size commercial projects
• Consult with project managers to ensure estimate accuracy
• Visit sites to assess conditions as needed

Job Description

Clearwater Plumbing is looking for an experienced Plumbing Estimator for small to mid-size commercial projects ($3K-$200K average).

The ideal candidate will have commercial plumbing experience, be familiar with plumbing codes, be able to read and interpret plans and specs, do takeoffs, prepare accurate cost estimates and provide competitive plumbing bids. Must be familiar with Trimble or similar estimating tools.

The estimator will also consult with project managers to ensure accuracy and visit job sites from time to time to assess conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3 or more years commercial construction plumbing experience plus
• 3 or more years of plumbing estimating experience
• Thorough understanding of construction documents and bid processes
• Detail oriented with good communication skills, read and write English
• Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
