Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

We are a Construction, Architecture, and Engineering services firm located in Indianapolis, IN. As a Plumbing Engineer, you will be working close with architects, electrical engineers, and engineering professionals to design and deliver intricate building solutions specific to plumbing design and fire protection design. You will be utilizing the latest CAD design software such as BIM or Revit to design HVAC, water systems, building management controls, and other mechanical systems in accordance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design plumbing systems for commercial construction builds -Corporate, Higher Education, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Government/Muncipal, Utilities, Data Centers, and more
• Design plumbing design, plumbing systems, water systems, fire protection
• Conduct load calculations for hydraulics, flow rates, piping design, pressure drops, and more
• Design plumbing systems and fire protection designs for various building types ensuring efficency, sustainability, and compliance to building codes and standards
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering or similar field, Professional Engineer (PE) license a plus, but not required
• 3-5+ years of plumbing engineering experience
• Experience with commercial construction, plumbing design, plumbing systems, water systems, fire protection design
• Experience with various construction modeling software such as AutoCAD, CAD, Revit, BIM, or similar
• Experience with collaborating with other engineers to design and adhere to project requirements
• Experience with conducting load calculations -hydraulic calculations, flow rates, piping design, pressure drops, and more
