Job summary

Relief Services is seeking a Plumbing Division Manager to launch and lead its new plumbing service division in Northern California, based from Chico. You will build the systems, hire and develop technicians, and set standards for service delivery and customer experience.

The role requires a licensed plumber, leadership experience, and the ability to manage residential and commercial plumbing operations while driving profitability and growth for the division.

Qualifications

• Licensed plumber with California experience.
• Active C-36 Plumbing Contractor License preferred.
• Minimum 3 years managing a plumbing crew or division.
• Experience hiring, training, and developing plumbing technicians.
• Residential and commercial plumbing service experience.
• Experience with budgeting, pricing, or financial tracking.

Responsibilities

• Launch and build the plumbing division from the ground up.
• Establish service standards, procedures, and customer experience processes.
• Develop the division’s service model for residential and commercial work.
• Staffing, equipment, tools, and operational resources planning.
• Create SOPs and training materials for plumbing services.
• Oversee scheduling, dispatch, job tracking, and customer communication.
• Monitor performance and drive profitability across the division.
• Lead and develop technicians and build a culture of quality and reliability.
