Job summary

DEVITA Inc. is seeking a Plumbing Designer in Atlanta to design and draft plumbing systems for multi-family, commercial, institutional, and light industrial projects.

You will create efficient, cost-conscious designs and contribute to project work plans while meeting schedules and budgets. Candidates should have 2+ years in plumbing design/drafting, a degree in mechanical engineering or technology is a plus, and be proficient in AutoDesk Revit MEP and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in design and drafting of plumbing systems
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology a plus
• Proficient in AutoDesk Revit MEP
• Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook

• Designing and drafting residential and commercial plumbing systems
• Designing, selecting, scheduling, sizing, and specifying basic plumbing system components to include plumbing fixtures, drains, and equipment
• Assisting in developing and maintaining project work plan
• Working to meet design schedules and completing tasks on budget

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the design and drafting of residential, commercial, institutional, or light industrial plumbing systems
• Two-year or four-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology a plus
• Ability to work independently and as a strong team player
• Proven ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
