Job summary

Interface Engineering Inc. in New York City is seeking a Plumbing Design Engineer II/III (MEP) to take ownership as a discipline lead on multiple projects within a hybrid work setting. The role emphasizes collaboration, technical excellence, and leadership across project teams.

You will work with a dynamic, employee-owned firm that supports a flexible hybrid schedule (2 days in-office per week minimum) and offers strong career growth opportunities through programs like Pathway to Leadership.

Qualifications

• BS Degree.
• 2+ years’ experience in MEP plumbing design/consulting.
• Working knowledge of IPC/UPC and IBC standards.
• A Professional Engineering License, or CPD certification.
• LEED Accreditation.
• Working Autodesk REVIT knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for plumbing system selection, engineering & design
• Preparation of Plumbing drawings, sketches, analysis, specifications, and calculations
• Demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Providing management and oversight of plumbing support staff
• Providing construction administration & site observations related to your projects.
• Delivering exemplary service and support to team members and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Plumbing Design Engineer II/III at Interface, you will be taking ownership as a discipline lead on multiple projects. Your duties will include (but may not be limited to):

What You'll Bring:
