Interface Engineering Inc. in Portland, OR is seeking a Plumbing Design Engineer II/III (MEP) for a hybrid role. The company offers a 100% employee-owned culture with a hybrid policy (minimum 2 days in-office) and a Pathway to Leadership for career advancement.

The role requires a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, 2+ years of MEP plumbing design/consulting, and knowledge of IPC/UPC and IBC standards. Preferred PE/CPD/LEED and REVIT proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years’ experience in MEP plumbing design/consulting.
• Working knowledge of IPC/UPC and IBC standards.

Responsibilities

• Plumbing system selection, engineering & design.
• Prepare plumbing drawings, sketches, analyses, specifications and calculations.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Provide management and oversight of plumbing support staff.
• Provide construction administration and site observations related to your projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsibility for plumbing system selection, engineering & design
• Preparation of Plumbing drawings, sketches, analysis, specifications, and calculations

What You'll Bring

Required :

• Professional Engineer (PE) License
• Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD)
