Job summary

Newcomb & Boyd, a multi-discipline engineering firm serving Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, seeks a Plumbing Engineer to design advanced plumbing systems and coordinate with in-house disciplines and clients. You will prepare 2D/3D construction documents in Revit, design water, sanitary, fuel, medical gas, and laboratory gas systems, and contribute to LEED documentation.

Entry to mid-level candidates with 0–5 years in plumbing consulting are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 0–5 years' experience in plumbing consulting preferred.
• Solid ability to design complex plumbing systems and coordinate with multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Support the design of complex plumbing systems.
• Prepare 2D/3D construction documents using Revit.
• Design domestic water, sanitary, waste and vent, fuel, medical gas, and laboratory gas systems.
• Prepare LEED documentation.
