Stancil Services in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Estimator Costing Specialist - Plumbing to maintain BOM and Piece Rate data, support estimating, and ensure data accuracy across projects. This role collaborates with Estimating, Purchasing and Field Compliance to align cost data with field operations and improve forecasting.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in construction costing or data coordination, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP/estimating platforms like Sage, Viewpoint, or

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction costing, estimating, or data coordination roles.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
• Experience with ERP, costing, or estimating platforms (Sage, Viewpoint, NetSuite).
• Familiarity with Bluebeam, Adobe, or similar PDF markup tools.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain BOM and Piece Rate databases with accurate information.
• Ensure version control, consistency, and audit readiness for cost data.
• Coordinate with Estimating, Purchasing and Field Compliance teams to align cost data with field operations.
• Distribute updated materials lists, labor rate sheets, and other documents to stakeholders.
• Provide cost data for bids and project planning; develop cost reports and dashboards.
